Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care, assisting with ADLs like bathing, dressing, and mobility
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team promptly
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control protocols
• Support patients with dignity and respect, building trusting relationships
• Accurately document patient care activities and handoffs to ensure continuity
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to meet patient needs and care plans

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential — required
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or ability to obtain promptly
• Valid authorization to work in the United States
• Previous CNA experience preferred; new grads with strong bedside skills encouraged to apply
• Ability to pass facility background checks and health screenings

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Completion of an accredited CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Comfortable with patient handling, transfers, and safe mobility techniques
• Skilled at taking and charting vital signs and basic clinical observations
• Strong communication and teamwork to support interdisciplinary care
• Knowledge of infection control, patient hygiene, and documentation best practices
• Compassionate bedside manner and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting
