Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
• Assist with bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding, and mobility needs
• Take and record vital signs, observing and reporting changes in patient condition
• Support safe transfers and ambulation using proper body mechanics
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided
• Follow infection control, safety protocols, and facility procedures
• Work collaboratively with the nursing team to deliver person-centered care
• Build trusting relationships with patients and families through respectful communication

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
• Comfortable working 12 to 13 hour day shifts as a per diem CNA
• Reliable attendance and the ability to respond to variable scheduling needs
• Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude
• Ability to pass background checks and any facility-required screenings
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or able to obtain

Education

• Completion of an accredited CNA training program and high school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

• Fundamental nursing care and ADL support
• Accurate vital sign measurement and basic clinical observation
• Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
• Infection control practices and universal precautions
• Clear, compassionate verbal and written communication
• Basic charting and electronic documentation familiarity
