Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care including assistance with activities of daily living
Observe and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff promptly
Support safe patient handling and mobility, keeping dignity and comfort front and center
Document care accurately and timely to ensure continuity and quality
Collaborate with the care team to create a calm, efficient environment for patients

Qualifications

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing
Current basic health screenings as required by facility (e.g., TB, immunizations) — facility will confirm during orientation
Ability to pass background checks and any facility onboarding requirements
Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
Prior experience in long-term care or hospital settings is a plus

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred; CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Comfortable assisting with ADLs (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding)
Basic vital signs measurement and documentation
Knowledge of infection control and patient safety practices
Good time management and ability to prioritize patient needs
Compassionate patient interaction and effective teamwork
