Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care in an acute care environment
Assist patients with activities of daily living while maintaining dignity and respect
Monitor patients and promptly report changes in condition to the care team
Follow individualized care plans and safety protocols consistently
Complete required documentation and facility-specific skills checklists accurately
Participate in orientation and skills verification prior to first shift
Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and other team members to deliver coordinated care

Qualifications

Valid CNA certification required (must submit CNA certification verification)
BLS certification required (must submit BLS verification)
Minimum 2 years of experience in an acute care setting
Experience in inpatient psychiatry preferred
Ability to complete the facility-specific skills checklist
Submit resume and required documentation as part of application

Knowledge & Skills

Strong patient care and hands-on clinical skills
Experience working in acute care settings and understanding of acute care workflows
Basic Life Support (BLS) knowledge and emergency response readiness
Accurate documentation and attention to detail
Effective communication and teamwork skills with interdisciplinary staff
Awareness of infection control and patient safety practices
