Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform and assist with cardiac catheterization procedures and diagnostic/interventional cases in the cath lab
• Prepare and maintain cath lab equipment and sterile fields to ensure patient safety
• Monitor patient hemodynamics and respond to changes during procedures
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied staff to deliver coordinated, high-quality cardiac care
• Document procedures and patient information accurately using EPIC
• Provide compassionate patient education and pre/post-procedure care instructions
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond professionally when called to support urgent cases

Qualifications

• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) via CCI required
• ACLS certification required
• BLS (AHA) required
• Minimum 2 years of cath lab or cardiac catheterization experience
• Current, valid professional licensure as applicable and 'License to Submit' on file
• Comfortable with call coverage and occasional after-hours responsibilities

Knowledge & Skills

• Proven experience in cardiac catheterization and cath lab procedures
• Familiarity with EPIC charting system
• Strong infection control and sterile technique practices
• Excellent patient monitoring and hemodynamic assessment skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and in fast-paced acute care settings
• Clear communication and teamwork skills across multidisciplinary teams
