Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 8-hour shift (start/end times and specific days not specified)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents/patients
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Monitor and document vital signs, conditions, and changes in patient status
Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and care staff to deliver coordinated care
Educate residents and families about care plans and health maintenance
Maintain accurate clinical records and complete timely charting
Follow infection control protocols and maintain a safe care environment

Qualifications

Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Pennsylvania
Completion of an accredited LPN training program
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or required per facility policy
Strong communication and teamwork skills with a patient-centered approach
Prior experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar settings is a plus

Education

Completion of an accredited LPN program
High school diploma or GED

Knowledge & Skills

Medication administration and documentation best practices
Basic patient assessment and wound care knowledge
Familiarity with infection prevention and safety protocols
Comfortable using electronic medical records and standard charting
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced care environment
