Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and related procedures
• Collaborate closely with physicians, technologists, and the peri-procedural team to ensure safe, efficient procedures
• Perform thorough pre- and post-procedure assessments and monitoring to support excellent patient outcomes
• Maintain sterile technique and cath lab protocols to reduce risk and promote patient safety
• Respond promptly and professionally when on-call, delivering calm, competent care during urgent situations
• Document patient care, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely

Qualifications

• Active Hawaii RN license required prior to start of contract
• Experience as a Cath Lab RN or demonstrated cardiac catheterization experience
• Willingness and ability to take frequent on-call shifts and work consecutive weekends as needed
• Comfort working in a fast-paced procedural environment and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
• Current clinical skills relevant to cardiac monitoring and procedural support

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of cardiac catheterization procedures, hemodynamic monitoring, and cath lab equipment
• Strong patient assessment and triage skills in pre- and post-procedure settings
• Ability to maintain sterile field and adhere to infection control standards
• Effective communication and teamwork skills in high-stakes clinical situations
• Prior experience with procedural documentation and electronic health records
