Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality spinal, epidural and regional anesthesia for a broad adult and pediatric (dental/ophthalmic) population
• Supervise CRNAs as needed and manage a mixed caseload, balancing your own cases with supervisory duties
• Collaborate with surgical teams across orthopedics, urology, ophthalmology and endoscopy to deliver safe perioperative care
• Document care accurately and efficiently in Epic to maintain clear patient records
• Participate in on-call coverage and 24-hour call rotations as required by the facility
• Support a positive workplace culture by mentoring CRNAs and contributing to department workflow improvements

Qualifications

• Physician credentialed as an Anesthesiologist (credentialing at the facility required — position starts as soon as credentialed)
• Demonstrated experience with spinal, epidural and regional anesthesia
• Experience supervising CRNAs in a hospital setting (comfortable with MD:CRNA supervision ratios around 1:3–4)
• Proficiency with Epic EMR or equivalent electronic medical record systems
• Comfort managing adult cases across ortho, urology, ophthalmic and endoscopy; pediatric dental/ophthalmic experience a plus
• Ability to participate in variable shift patterns including 8/10/12-hour shifts and on-call duties

Education

• Medical degree (MD or DO) and completion of an accredited anesthesiology residency
• Board certification or eligibility in Anesthesiology preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in regional anesthesia techniques and perioperative pain management
• Strong clinical judgment in fast-paced OR environments
• Clear communication and team leadership when supervising CRNAs and coordinating with surgeons
• Familiarity with Epic workflows, anesthesia documentation and order entry
• Adaptability to changing case mixes and OR schedules
