Roles & Responsibilities

• Dispense community outpatient prescriptions accurately and efficiently
• Coordinate discharge medications and deliver bedside medication support
• Support immunization services and medication management programs
• Use Epic Willow Ambulatory to process prescriptions and document patient interactions
• Collaborate with pharmacists to ensure safe, compliant sterile compounding when required
• Communicate clearly with patients and caregivers to improve medication adherence
• Participate in quality assurance and inventory control to keep the pharmacy running smoothly

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered Certified Oregon Pharmacy Technician license required upon submission
• Epic Willow Ambulatory experience required
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Outpatient/retail pharmacy experience preferred (retail settings like Rite Aid, Walgreens, etc)
• Sterile compounding experience preferred
• Successful completion of a Medical Pharmacy Technician course preferred
• Pre-employment/post-offer drug screen required prior to start
• Willingness to work rotating weekends

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of prescription dispensing workflows and outpatient pharmacy operations
• Experience with discharge medication coordination and bedside delivery
• Familiarity with medication management services and immunization administration processes
• Comfortable using Epic Willow Ambulatory and electronic health record workflows
• Attention to detail, strong communication skills, and patient-focused service
• Basic sterile compounding principles (preferred)
