Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and patients including assistance with activities of daily living
• Monitor and record vital signs, intake/output, and other observations to support safe patient care
• Assist nursing team with transfers, mobility, and safe patient handling to prevent injury
• Maintain clear, timely documentation and communicate changes in patient condition to the care team
• Support a clean and safe environment by following infection control and safety protocols
• Build trusting relationships with patients and families through respectful, person-centered care

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing
• Ability to work overnight 12-hour shifts (6:30 PM - 6:30 AM)
• Basic life support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Strong communication skills and a teamwork mindset
• Reliable, compassionate, and patient-focused attitude

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completion of an accredited CNA program and state certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Comfortable assisting with ADLs and mobility
• Proficient in taking and recording vital signs and basic clinical observations
• Familiarity with infection control and resident safety practices
• Good documentation habits and clear communication with clinical staff
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced care setting
