Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide safe, patient-centered nursing care across units as a resource pool RN
• Perform thorough patient assessments and develop/implement individualized care plans
• Respond promptly and effectively to changes in patient condition and emergencies
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate transitions of care
• Document patient care accurately and timely using the facility electronic systems
• Maintain required competencies and complete Trinity specialty competency testing
• Support unit staffing needs while modeling professionalism and compassionate care

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license with ability to verify credentials
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• TNCC and NIHSS certifications as listed
• Successful completion of Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and Trinity Skills Checklist
• Ability to pass required pre-employment screenings: Fit Test, 10-panel drug screen, background/health verifications
• Up-to-date immunizations and health clearances including COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella, and PPD/IGRA

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Comfort with acute and emergency care protocols including ACLS and TNCC
• Proficiency with stroke assessment using NIHSS
• Adaptability to work across different units and patient populations
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Competence in accurate clinical documentation and electronic charting
• Time management and the ability to prioritize in fast-paced settings
