Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care during the day shift
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
- Document assessments, interventions and resident responses clearly
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support care plans
- Monitor residents’ conditions and promptly communicate changes
- Support resident activities of daily living with dignity and respect
- Contribute to a positive, professional environment that enhances recovery
Qualifications
- Current LPN or RN license (eligible to practice in Massachusetts preferred)
- Active CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Comfortable working in a long-term care/rehab setting
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Ability to perform clinical duties safely and follow facility policies
Education
- Graduate of an accredited LPN or RN program; high school diploma or equivalent required
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in medication administration and basic nursing assessments
- Familiarity with long-term care and rehab nursing practices
- Good charting and documentation habits
- Ability to prioritize care and manage time across assigned residents
- Strong interpersonal skills for working with residents, families and staff
