Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide engaging telepractice speech-language therapy to elementary students, using evidence-based approaches
• Assess student speech, language, and communication needs and develop individualized intervention plans
• Manage and maintain an elementary caseload with clear documentation of student progress
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student communication goals
• Prepare concise, school-appropriate progress reports and participate in student support meetings as needed
• Adapt therapy activities for telepractice delivery to keep students motivated and making measurable gains
• Respect district policies: this role does not require Medicaid billing or case management responsibilities

Qualifications

• Active Oregon SLP license required
• Experience delivering telepractice services and working in school settings (elementary caseload experience preferred)
• Strong caseload management skills and familiarity with school documentation practices
• Comfortable collaborating with teachers and families in a school-based environment
• Excellent communication and organization skills; a positive, student-centered attitude

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders (preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

• Familiarity with telepractice platforms and virtual therapy best practices
• Knowledge of elementary speech and language development and intervention strategies
• Ability to create engaging, developmentally-appropriate activities for virtual delivery
• Skilled in progress monitoring, data collection, and school-style reporting
• Collaborative approach to working with multidisciplinary school teams
