Shift Type: Rotating night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM; rotating schedule that includes nights and requires working at least 4 weekends per schedule period (Night)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $48.75 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality critical care to NVICU patients, managing complex neuro/vascular cases with confidence
- Perform and assist with advanced procedures including intubation, central line and A-line management, and EVD care
- Continuously monitor and assess patient status, acting swiftly on changes and escalating when needed
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently in Meditech EMR to ensure continuity and safety
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists and multidisciplinary team members during rounds and care planning
- Adhere to unit policies and best practices to maintain a safe, evidence-based ICU environment
- Support unit staffing and coverage needs, including working required weekend rotations and floating as needed
Qualifications
- Valid RN license (active and in good standing)
- ACLS certification (required)
- Minimum 1 year of ICU experience (critical care nursing experience required)
- Comfort and experience with intubation, central line/A-line care and EVD patient management preferred
- Experience with Meditech EMR preferred
- Team player with accountability, strong communication skills, and a caring bedside manner
- Willingness to work nights and meet weekend scheduling requirements
Knowledge & Skills
- Critical care nursing fundamentals and advanced ICU interventions
- Airway management and intubation support
- Central venous and arterial line care and troubleshooting
- EVD monitoring and neuro-critical care basics
- Proficiency with Meditech EMR documentation and workflows
- Ability to work effectively in high-acuity, 2:1 patient ratio settings
- Strong teamwork, clinical judgement and patient advocacy skills
