Location: High Point, North Carolina
Shift Type: Days not specified, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM Day shift

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living
- Take and record vital signs and promptly report any changes to the nursing team
- Support patient mobility and transfers while following safe lifting practices
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care and observations
- Assist with meal service, hygiene, and toileting needs with dignity and respect
- Communicate clearly with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
Qualifications
- Active CNA certification required
- Completion of an accredited CNA training program
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or required depending on facility policy
- Comfortable assisting with ADLs and working as part of a collaborative care team
- Compassionate bedside manner and strong communication skills
- Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing helpful but not mandatory
Education
- High school diploma or GED and completion of an accredited CNA program
Knowledge & Skills
- Hands-on patient care and assistance with ADLs
- Basic clinical skills: taking vitals, assisting with mobility, feeding assistance
- Infection control and safe hygiene practices
- Clear, respectful communication with patients and clinical teams
- Accurate documentation and attention to detail
- Teamwork and a positive, patient-first attitude
