Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate assistance with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing and mobility
Monitor and record vital signs and communicate changes to the nursing team promptly
Assist with safe patient transfers and positioning while following facility protocols
Maintain accurate documentation and support care plans with attention to detail
Practice infection control and safety measures to protect patients and coworkers
Build trusting relationships with patients and families, offering dignity and emotional support

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
Active CNA registry or state authorization to practice in North Carolina
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
Reliable, punctual and able to work on your feet for your shift
Strong communication and teamwork skills with a patient-centered attitude

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completed state-approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Understanding of basic patient care and ADLs
Familiarity with vital signs, charting and documentation best practices
Knowledge of infection prevention and safe patient handling
Ability to follow care plans and escalate concerns to nursing staff
Empathy, patience and strong interpersonal skills
