Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to assigned patients during each shift
• Perform thorough patient assessments and document changes in condition
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and in a timely manner
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
• Communicate clearly with patients and families to support education and discharge planning
• Maintain accurate charts and comply with facility policies and regulatory requirements
• Support unit flow during admissions, discharges and transfers

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; willingness to obtain New Hampshire licensure if needed
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain prior to start
• Previous acute care nursing experience preferred; new grads may inquire
• Strong communication, clinical judgment and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work scheduled 12+ hour day shifts (Sunday–Tuesday)

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN/BSN) or equivalent for licensure

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient assessment and bedside care with attention to detail
• Medication administration and documentation best practices
• Familiarity with electronic health record charting
• Effective communication with patients, families and care teams
• Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced clinical environment
