Shift Type: Monday-Friday, option of four 10-hour day shifts (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM) or five 8-hour day shifts (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM); day shifts only — no weekends, no holidays, no call
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $74 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide expert nursing care in the electrophysiology lab, supporting diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
- Prepare patients and equipment for EP studies and ablations, maintaining sterile technique
- Continuously monitor patient hemodynamics and cardiac rhythms during procedures
- Administer medications and assist with sedation per protocol while ensuring patient safety
- Document accurately and efficiently in Epic (EHR) to maintain clear patient records
- Collaborate with physicians, techs, and the perioperative team to deliver seamless care
- Participate in Trinity specialty competencies and maintain required certifications and checklists
- Educate patients and families about procedures, post-procedure care, and follow-up instructions
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) credential and license (License/Certificate Verification required)
- Electrophysiology (EP) lab experience required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- CPI certification required
- Proficiency with Epic EHR required
- Successful completion of Trinity Skills Checklist and Trinity specialty competency testing
- Up-to-date immunizations and health screening (COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Hep B, influenza, 2-step PPD or IGRA, varicella), fit test, physical, and drug screen
Education
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN/ASN or BSN) and active RN licensure
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of EP lab procedures, equipment, and sterile protocols
- Ability to interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to arrhythmias
- Skilled in intra-procedural patient monitoring and documentation
- Familiarity with peri-procedural medication administration and sedation safety
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills in a high-acuity environment
- Comfortable using Epic for charting, orders, and procedure documentation
