Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT imaging exams (including abdomen, pelvis, chest, brain, spine and vascular CTAs) to provide clear diagnostic images
• Prepare and administer contrast media safely and start peripheral IVs when needed
• Operate Siemens and Toshiba CT scanners and manage image post-processing and multiplanar reconstructions
• Document procedures and patient data accurately in Epic for seamless continuity of care
• Prioritize patient safety and comfort while adhering to radiation safety protocols
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses and interdisciplinary teams to support timely diagnoses and patient flow

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) certification required
• BLS required
• Venipuncture certification required; fluoro permit and advanced certifications preferred
• Active state radiologic technologist license (pending licenses are not accepted)
• Minimum ~1 year CT experience preferred (first-time travelers are welcome)
• Comfortable floating between outpatient and hospital settings as needed

Education

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• ARRT registration (as listed above)
• High school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with Epic charting and electronic documentation
• Experience with PACS and post-processing (multiplanar reconstruction)
• Hands-on experience with Siemens and Toshiba CT equipment
• Skilled in contrast administration, IV starts and venipuncture
• Familiarity with a broad range of CT procedures: CTA, arthrography, biopsies, myelography and transplant studies
• Strong patient care, communication and infection-control practices
