Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT imaging studies (abdomen/pelvis, chest, head & neck) with attention to diagnostic detail
• Administer IV contrast safely and competently, including preparation and monitoring of patients
• Start peripheral IVs and perform venipuncture as needed for imaging procedures
• Conduct advanced CT exams: vascular CTA, coronary CTA, brain perfusion, myelography, CT arthrography, biopsies and drainages
• Operate Siemens and Toshiba CT systems and PACS for image acquisition and post-processing
• Create multiplanar reconstructions (MPR) and support image display/post-processing for accurate interpretation
• Chart exams and patient care accurately in Epic to ensure continuity and compliance
• Float between outpatient and hospital areas as needed and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams during emergencies (code stroke, trauma, TAVR cases)
• Maintain patient safety, infection control, and quality assurance standards on every exam

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) certification required
• BLS certification required
• Venipuncture certification and experience starting peripheral IVs
• Minimum 1 year of CT experience (first-timers accepted but 1 year preferred)
• Fluoro permit and state radiologic license preferred (state license required — pending license not accepted)
• Proficiency with Epic charting and PACS workflow
• Comfort with special procedures (biopsies, myelography, arthrography) and emergency/trauma scenarios
• Ability to float between outpatient and inpatient settings and work rotating mid shifts

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in CT protocols: Abdomen/Pelvis, Chest, Head & Neck, Spine and Musculoskeletal exams
• Advanced skills in Vascular CTA, Coronary CTA and brain perfusion studies
• Experience with image post-processing, multiplanar reconstruction (MPR) and PACS troubleshooting
• Familiarity with Siemens and Toshiba CT scanners
• Safe preparation and administration of contrast media
• Strong patient care skills across age groups from pediatrics to geriatrics
• Ability to respond effectively in code stroke and trauma situations
• Accurate Epic charting and documentation habits
