Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
Assist residents with mobility, bathing, dressing, and dining needs
Monitor and record vital signs and report changes promptly to nursing staff
Maintain a safe, clean, and respectful environment for residents
Collaborate with the care team and communicate observations to support personalized care
Accurately document care provided in accordance with facility policies

Qualifications

Active GNA certification or state-equivalent nursing assistant certification
Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain
Up-to-date immunizations and TB screening as required by the facility
Background check and drug screen clearance
Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred but new graduates welcome

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
GNA or certified nursing assistant training completed

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of infection control and patient safety practices
Comfortable with basic charting and documentation
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with residents and families
Ability to follow care plans and work as part of a team
Compassion, patience, and a resident-centered approach
