Location: Omaha, Nebraska

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 8 and 12 hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM or 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM, with 1-4 hour call after a shift every week and weekend call from Friday evening to Sunday evening about every 5 weeks

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $50 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare operating rooms and ensure all equipment is ready for procedures
Assist surgeons during a wide variety of cases including ortho, neuro, robotics, GYN, ENT, and eyes
Maintain sterile technique and support the surgical team throughout each case
Handle specialized equipment such as the DaVinci Robot, stealth navigation, and O-arm
Collaborate with a dynamic OR team to deliver exceptional patient care

Qualifications

Current BLS certification required
CST certification preferred but not required
Strong experience in ortho, neuro, and robotics procedures
Driver's license required at time of submittal
Must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise across ortho, neuro, GYN, eyes, ENT, and robotics specialties
Comfortable with complex cases like total joints, craniotomies, and robotic procedures
Strong sterile technique and attention to detail
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced 12-suite OR environment
