Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM, Monday-Friday with possible weekend and on-call shifts as needed

Hours per Week: 40

Roles & Responsibilities

Care for and handle surgical instruments and equipment with precision
Store and distribute sterile supplies throughout the medical center
Ensure all processed goods meet quality standards for redistribution
Assist Sterile Processing Specialists with team lead duties and maintaining competencies
Collaborate with surgical teams to support safe patient care

Qualifications

At least 2 years of recent Sterile Processing Technician experience
Active HSPA certification for a minimum of 2 years
Previous travel experience preferred
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
COVID-19 vaccination required (declinations not accepted)

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of sterile processing techniques and infection control
Skill in handling and storing surgical instruments
Understanding of quality assurance for processed goods
Proficiency with sterilization equipment
Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment
