Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM (evening shift), 40 hours guaranteed; weekend and on-call schedules to be determined by facility

Roles & Responsibilities

Care for, handle, and store surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment
Prepare and distribute processed goods for use throughout the medical center
Assist Sterile Processing Specialists with team lead duties and competency maintenance
Ensure strict adherence to sterilization protocols and infection control standards
Collaborate with surgical teams to deliver sterile instruments on time

Qualifications

At least 2 years of current Sterile Processing Technician experience required
Active HSPA certification for a minimum of 2 years
Previous travel experience is a must
Current American Heart Association BLS certification
COVID-19 vaccine required (no declinations accepted)

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in instrument handling and sterile processing techniques
Knowledge of sterilization equipment and infection control practices
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
