Shift Type: Rotating shifts including every other weekend and 1-2 nights of call per week

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality ultrasound exams including OB/GYN, abdomen, small parts, carotid arteries, DVT studies, and renal arteries
Conduct para, thora, and biopsy procedures with precision and care
Rotate between inpatient and outpatient settings to support the full radiology team
Collaborate with radiologists and fellow sonographers to deliver exceptional patient care
Maintain accurate documentation using McKesson, Cerner, and VRAD systems

Qualifications

Current ARDMS certification required
RVT credential preferred or willingness to obtain
Active BLS certification
Minimum two years of recent ultrasound experience with strong vascular skills
Ability to provide two supervisory references (one within the last 12 months)

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient with GE L8 and L9 ultrasound equipment
Comfortable performing 10+ studies per day across varied patient populations
Strong vascular imaging skills including carotid, DVT, and renal artery studies
Familiarity with McKesson, Cerner, and VRAD systems
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
