Shift Type: Flexible 8-hour, 10-hour, or 12-hour shifts with start times including 6:30 AM, 9:00 AM, or 10:45 AM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $48 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare operating rooms and ensure all equipment and supplies are ready for each procedure
Scrub in and assist surgeons during a wide variety of cases including total joints, general, vascular, and spine surgeries
Maintain sterile technique and support the surgical team to deliver safe, high-quality patient care
Collaborate with the OR team to handle trauma, orthopedic, ENT, and neuro/spine procedures
Document procedures accurately using Cerner Surginet and communicate effectively with supervisors

Qualifications

Current Surgical Tech certification and strong hands-on experience in the operating room
Proven expertise with total joints, general surgery, vascular surgery, and spine procedures
Comfortable working with Cerner Surginet EMR and Phillips monitoring systems
Ability to take call (1-2 weeknights per week and approximately one weekend per month)
Flexible availability for 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of sterile technique and surgical instrumentation
Experience across multiple specialties including ortho, vascular, neuro/spine, and trauma
Familiarity with Cerner Surginet and Phillips telemetry equipment
Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced OR environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
