Location: Garrison, North Dakota

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $58 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Serve as charge nurse overseeing daily operations in a 26-bed long-term care facility
Administer medications and provide compassionate wound care to residents
Monitor and support residents with heart disease, diabetes, and dementia
Collaborate with DON and interdisciplinary team to ensure quality resident care
Maintain accurate documentation using the Matrix EMR system

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact license
BLS certification required
Prior long-term care experience preferred
Ability to work 12-hour shifts and every other weekend

Knowledge & Skills

Strong medication administration and wound care skills
Comfortable working independently as charge nurse
Excellent communication with residents, families, and the care team
Familiarity with Matrix EMR a plus
