Location: Chico, California

Start Date: 05-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Sunday, 8-hour shifts starting at 7:30 AM, may be scheduled on weekends

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $70 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Position patients for chest, hand, wrist, forearm, elbow, knee, foot, and ankle x-rays with care and precision
Perform imaging procedures independently while ensuring patient safety and comfort
Operate X-ray equipment and process images into PACS for accurate documentation
Provide basic patient care including vital signs, rooming patients, and assisting with blood draws when qualified
Prepare patients for clinician evaluation and support the care team throughout each visit
Maintain an orderly, well-stocked work area and float to Main Radiology as needed

Qualifications

Current full Certificate of Radiologic Technology issued by the California Department of Health Services (CRT)
Current CPR Certification
California Fluoroscopy Permit
Current ARRT licensure
EPIC EMR experience
At least 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist
Previous traveler experience preferred

Fluoroscopy procedures
PACS image documentation
EPIC EMR navigation
Vital signs monitoring
Blood draw techniques when qualified
Patient positioning and safety protocols
