Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws, injections, child immunizations, and lab tests
• Assist physicians during examinations by taking vital signs and preparing patients
• Maintain clean and stocked examination rooms
• Handle patient phone calls and provide instructions as directed by physician
• Requisition supplies and assist with medical record maintenance

Qualifications

• Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) required
• At least 2 years of demonstrated experience as a Medical Assistant in a medical setting
• BLS certification required
• Completion of a formal Medical Assistant training program

Education

• Medical Assistant training program completion

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in blood draws and injections
• Skilled in taking vital signs and patient assessments
• Knowledge of clinical support procedures
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to handle stressful situations with calm and professionalism
