Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform, coordinate, and monitor neuroscience testing for both inpatient and outpatient populations
• Interview each patient to gather medical history pertinent to electrodiagnostic testing
• Assess patients using care principles based on growth and development and age-specific needs
• Prepare and adjust equipment prior to diagnostic testing tailored to each patient
• Implement diagnostic tests and procedures according to physician orders
• Communicate completion of testing and technician impressions to ordering physician for final report

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• At least 1 year of Neurodiagnostic experience required
• Successful completion of training in EEG procedures under supervision required
• NICU EEG experience strongly preferred
• ABRET certification preferred
