Shift Type: 3x12-hour night shifts (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM), rotating weekends & holidays

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in Med/Surg or Emergency Department
• Triage and prioritize patients based on clinical and psychological needs
• Perform thorough assessments and reassessments as conditions change
• Administer medications and manage IVs and central lines
• Monitor and interpret labs, diagnostics, and clinical indicators
• Communicate clearly with providers and interdisciplinary team members
• Document care accurately and in compliance with standards
• Educate and support patients and families
• Serve as charge nurse when assigned, supervising LPNs and Nursing Assistants
• Promote safety, teamwork, and quality patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Current Illinois RN license (or eligibility)
• BLS certification required
• ACLS preferred (or willing to obtain within 6 months)
• Emergency Department or Med/Surg experience preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
• Commitment to compassionate, community-focused care

• Medication administration and IV therapy
• EMR proficiency preferred
