Roles & Responsibilities

• Handle instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during surgical procedures
• Understand the procedure being performed and anticipate the surgeon's needs
• Maintain a sterile field and ensure all instruments are properly prepared
• Assist the surgical team with intraoperative tasks as needed
• Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Surgical Technologist Program
• BLS/BCLS certification required
• Less than 1 year of experience, but previous travel experience preferred (no first-time travelers)
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment

Education

• Graduate from an accredited Surgical Technologist Program

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of surgical instruments and sterile technique
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to anticipate needs and adapt quickly
