Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate resident care in a skilled nursing facility
• Supervise nursing staff to ensure high-quality, compassionate care
• Develop and implement individualized care plans
• Monitor patient outcomes and adjust care strategies as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote resident well-being
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and facility policies

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Maine (or compact state) required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting
• Previous charge nurse or management experience preferred
• BLS certification from AHA required
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption required

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in geriatric nursing and chronic disease management
• Ability to mentor and motivate nursing team members
• Proficiency in electronic health records and documentation
• Sound clinical judgment and decision-making abilities
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
