Shift Type: 9:00 AM - 9:30 PM, call rotation (4-6 12-hour calls per 28-day schedule including weekend call)

Hours per Week: 60

Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from surgery
• Monitor vital signs, manage pain, and assess patient conditions
• Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure optimal outcomes
• Educate patients and families on post-procedure care
• Respond to emergencies and provide critical interventions as needed

Qualifications

• 2+ years of PACU experience required
• Current Michigan RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Post-anesthesia care and patient monitoring
• Pain management techniques
• Advanced cardiac life support
• Team collaboration and patient advocacy
