Roles & Responsibilities

• Partner with residents and care providers to create a safe, therapeutic environment
• Provide direct and indirect nursing care to residents in long-term care and skilled nursing units
• Utilize verbal and non-verbal communication techniques for Alzheimer's/dementia residents
• Deliver skilled nursing and rehab services to patients recovering from surgeries or injuries
• Administer IV therapy, wound care, and geriatric assessments as needed
• Float to different units as required to ensure adequate coverage

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing
• Valid State of Maine or compact RN license
• 1-3 years of previous RN experience preferred
• Current BLS/BCLS certification required
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Flexibility to work 24/7 including nights, weekends, and holidays

• Ability to work collaboratively within a team of care providers
• Adaptability to float to different units as needed
• Compassionate care for patients with Alzheimer's/dementia
• Competency in IV therapy, wound care, and geriatric management
