Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide full scope cardiopulmonary services to patients of all ages
• Manage airways, ventilators, and assist with intubations
• Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis and chest physiotherapy
• Educate patients on respiratory therapy techniques and medications
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to optimize patient outcomes
• Document therapies accurately in the patient record

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of clinical respiratory therapy experience
• Current NBRC credentials (CRT or RRT)
• Active BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
• Experience with pediatric patients is highly preferred
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Education

• Graduate of an AMA-accredited Respiratory Therapy program with an Associate's degree or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in airway management, CPR, and ventilator operation
• Proficient in ABG procurement and analysis
• Knowledge of respiratory therapy medications and delivery methods
• Strong communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare team
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment like ventilators, pulse oximeters, and suction devices
