Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up dialysis machines safely and efficiently
• Evaluate patient access and perform cannulation before each treatment
• Monitor patients closely during treatment for adverse reactions and report to nursing staff
• Document patient data accurately for every treatment
• Obtain lab specimens as ordered and assist with other nursing duties

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• CCHT certification preferred, or ability to obtain within 18 months of hire
• BLS certification required
• 6 months of related work experience preferred
• Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail required

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

• Hemodialysis procedures and machine setup
• Cannulation techniques
• Patient monitoring and vital sign assessment
• Accurate documentation and attention to detail
