Roles & Responsibilities

• Float to all PCU/IMCU floors, providing high-quality cardiac care to patients with conditions such as STEMI, NSTEMI, and post-CABG
• Manage a patient ratio of 1:3-4, administering cardiac drips including Milrinone, Dobutamine, and Pressors
• Monitor telemetry and respond to changes in patient status
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient care accurately in EPIC EMR

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of PCU/IMCU experience in a similar-sized facility
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Experience with cardiac drips and telemetry monitoring

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in EPIC electronic medical records
• Strong cardiac assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to different units and patient populations
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
