Shift Type: Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, high-quality care to critically ill patients in ICU and Step-Down units
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
Administer medications and treatments following approved nursing techniques and state regulations
Document patient care accurately according to established standards
Utilize critical thinking to ensure patient safety and escalate concerns appropriately
Support colleagues across units with clinical expertise and guidance

Qualifications

Active Illinois RN license required
Current ACLS, BLS/BCLS, and NIHSS certifications
Minimum 2 years of ICU experience at a Level 1 Trauma Center
Willingness to float between ICU and Step-Down ICU units
Graduate of an accredited nursing program

Education

Graduate of an accredited nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

Strong understanding of the nursing process and critical care protocols
Skilled in medication administration and clinical documentation
Excellent critical thinking and patient advocacy abilities
Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
