Respiratory Therapist
Location: Spokane, Washington
Start Date: 08-10-2026
Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Rotating 12.5-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $44 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate respiratory care to pediatric patients
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans accordingly
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
- Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions and treatments
- Document patient care accurately and timely
Qualifications
- Current Washington State Respiratory Care Practitioner license
- Certification by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Minimum 1 year of acute care experience preferred
- Passion for working with children and families
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of pediatric respiratory therapy equipment and techniques
- Adaptability to fast-paced environments
