Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist with braces and Invisalign procedures to create beautiful smiles
• Prepare and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments for each patient
• Take dental X-rays and impressions as needed
• Provide patients with oral hygiene instructions and post-treatment care
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with scheduling

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent strongly preferred
• Hands-on experience with orthodontic procedures, including braces and Invisalign
• Current X-ray certification in Virginia
• Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered attitude

Knowledge & Skills

• Orthodontic procedures and terminology
• Sterilization and infection control protocols
• Dental software and patient management systems
• Compassionate patient education and chairside manner
