Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists during procedures and examinations
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
• Take and develop dental x-rays
• Provide exceptional patient care and education
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes

Qualifications

• Valid Dental Assistant certification in Maryland (MD)
• Experience as an orthodontic assistant preferred but not required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a smile

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental sterilization techniques and infection control
• Proficiency with dental software and digital x-ray systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Organizational skills and attention to detail
