Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide thorough dental cleanings and oral hygiene instruction to pediatric patients
• Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures
• Take and develop dental X-rays as needed
• Educate patients and families on proper dental care techniques
• Maintain a clean and organized treatment area to ensure patient safety

Qualifications

• Active Maryland Dental Hygienist license
• Excellent communication skills with children and families
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in dental hygiene procedures and equipment
• Knowledge of infection control protocols
• Familiarity with pediatric dentistry practices
• Comfortable using dental software for patient records
