Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, specialized care to critically ill newborns
• Monitor vital signs and administer medications as prescribed
• Collaborate with neonatologists and the healthcare team
• Educate and support families during their NICU journey
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure safety protocols

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia
• Minimum 1 year of NICU experience preferred
• BLS and NRP certifications required
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Knowledge & Skills

• Neonatal resuscitation and stabilization
• Care for premature and low-birth-weight infants
• Proficiency with neonatal monitors and ventilators
• Family-centered care approach
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
