Location: Arlington, Virginia
Start Date: 08-10-2026
Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Flexible shifts as needed, including days, nights, and weekends
Candidate Pay Rate: $51 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, family-centered care to critically ill newborns
- Monitor and assess neonatal patients, adjusting care plans as needed
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, respiratory therapists, and specialists
- Educate and support families through the NICU journey
- Administer medications, manage ventilators, and perform procedures with precision
Qualifications
- Current RN license in Virginia or compact
- BLS and NRP certification required
- Minimum 1 year of NICU experience preferred
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in neonatal resuscitation and stabilization
- Proficiency with ventilators, incubators, and monitoring equipment
- Excellent communication and emotional support skills
- Team collaboration and adaptability
- Knowledge of evidence-based neonatal care practices
