Location: Boston, Massachusetts
Start Date: 08-10-2026
Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Flexible 12-hour shifts as needed, per diem schedule
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding to changes with expertise
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
- Educate and support families throughout their child's stay
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- Minimum 1 year of recent PICU experience preferred
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in pediatric critical care nursing
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Ability to remain calm and effective in high-stress situations
