Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional nursing care to neuro stepdown patients
• Monitor neurological status and intervene as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Administer medications and treatments with precision
• Educate patients and families on recovery plans

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Louisiana (or compact state)
• Minimum of 1 year of stepdown or neuro experience preferred
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills

Education

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in neurological assessments
• Experience with telemetry and cardiac monitoring
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Adaptability to fast-paced environments
