End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM and 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, every other weekend and holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to laboring mothers and newborns in a dynamic LDRP unit
Monitor fetal strips and interpret vital signs to ensure the safest outcomes
Titrate critical drips including Pitocin, Magnesium, and Insulin with precision
Float to Med-Surg and ER units as needed, showcasing adaptability and broad clinical skills
Collaborate with a supportive Charge Nurse and dedicated CNA team to deliver excellent care
Follow AWHONN guidelines and quality metrics to maintain the highest standards

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact license
BLS certification required
ACLS, NRP, and STABLE preferred
Previous travel experience preferred
Ability to read and interpret fetal monitoring strips
Strong critical thinking and adaptability skills

Knowledge & Skills

Fetal monitoring and strip interpretation
Titration of Pitocin, Magnesium, and Insulin drips
Critical thinking and quality metric adherence
Meditech EMR experience
Philips telemetry monitoring
Traceview/PIP EFM system
