Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert care to patients with epilepsy, brain tumors, and post-neurosurgery needs
Monitor neurological status and detect subtle changes that make a real difference
Collaborate with a dedicated charge nurse and resource RN to deliver top-tier care
Float across Med-Surg/Tele units while expanding your clinical skill set
Maintain sterile technique during critical procedures like Foley insertion and central line care

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience
Level 1 trauma experience strongly preferred
BSN preferred; Med-Surg/Tele certification a plus

Education

BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong neuro assessment and critical thinking skills
Comfort with epilepsy monitoring, Trend EEGs, and post-op neuro patients
Ability to manage Bipap patients with RT support
Experience floating between units and adapting quickly
Commitment to maintaining sterile field and passing skills validation
