Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM + Call evenings and weekends. On call one evening a week (3:00 PM to 7:00 AM) and 2 Saturdays or Sundays a month (7:00 AM to 7:00 AM)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Circulate a wide range of surgical cases including CABGs, craniotomies, ortho trauma, total joints, and DaVinci robot procedures
Collaborate with surgeons and the OR team to ensure safe, efficient patient care across all specialties
Float between Bryan and College Station campuses as needed to support patient flow
Respond to call coverage with a 30-minute response time for after-hours emergencies
Precept new staff and share your expertise when the unit needs extra support

Qualifications

Active RN license in Texas
Minimum 4-5 years of hospital OR experience strongly preferred
Proven ability to circulate in CV, Neuro, Ortho, and General specialties
Robotics experience with both Mako and DaVinci systems required
Strong references and reliability are essential

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise circulating CABGs, TCARS, and Carotids
Comfortable handling craniotomies and other neuro cases on call
Skilled with ortho trauma, total joints, and Mako robot procedures
Proficient with DaVinci robot cases in general, urology, and CV
Able to manage eyes, endo, and cysto procedures as needed
