Location: Garden City, KS

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Self-scheduling with elective cases Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, plus 24/7 call coverage including weekends and holidays

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $102 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Lead and oversee both Cath Lab and ICU departments with passion and purpose
Mentor staff while enhancing nursing competencies and building a positive culture
Coordinate pre-procedure, recovery, and bedside procedural support with moderate sedation
Titrate critical drips and manage complex cardiac and vascular cases
Ensure high-quality care across cardiac, respiratory, and critical care patient populations
Float as a helping hand to support other departments when needed

Qualifications

Active RN license with 3 years of nursing experience
1 year of management experience and 1 year of clinical leadership experience
Current ACLS, BLS, RCIS, NIHSS, TNCC, and CRRT competency
Strong background in critical care, telemetry, and moderate sedation
Experience with drip titration and vasoactive medications

Knowledge & Skills

Critical care and telemetry monitoring expertise
Moderate sedation and drip titration proficiency
Cardiac, vascular, EP, and IR procedure knowledge
Leadership skills to build team culture and enhance competencies
Ability to read and monitor strips across multiple care areas
